Behind SSK.HQ is Socius Select By Kasfol, a lifestyle fashion brand deeply rooted in meaning. The name itself carries the philosophy: Socius translates to friends or society, while Select draws from the Nigerian phrase “bend down select” — a nod to thrift culture and Kasfol’s origin into fashion. Together, the name represents community, choice, and intention. 

Every piece is designed to express a thought, an observation, or a question posed by Kasfol to society at large.

This approach has positioned SSK.HQ as more than just a clothing brand. It’s a space where fashion becomes wearable commentary. From tie & dye designs to painted wearable art, the brand’s work explores texture, colour, and form as tools of expression. Jackets, pants, shirts, hoodies, skirts, shoes, and accessories become canvases. Some stocked, others created strictly on a custom-made basis to align with a client’s personal moodboard or illustration.

The Wearable Art segment pushes this further. While painted pieces remain central, SSK.HQ continues to experiment with patchwork, tufting, and mixed techniques, blurring the line between fashion and art. Custom-made orders allow clients to become part of the creative process, reinforcing the brand’s belief in individuality and shared storytelling.
